I am inspired by the exploration of the visual elements color, form and space. The fundamental nature of painting; the considerations, the endeavored experimentation and the inherent risks drive the meaning of my work. I find joy in the search and discovery of new forms and the relationships between them. Guided by my instincts and observations, each layer and decision informs the next. My practice involves a study of organic and geometric forms. I focus on color, value, contrasts and chromatic divergence as I seek to create a minimal and integrated image. My aim is to develop and express my own unique painted language, while it interests me how color and form universally impact mood, emotion and the subconscious mind.
